Our Floor installation process
We start by mechanically grinding the concrete floor to remove any old coatings, stains and dirt. Concrete grinding also helps us achieve the correct concrete profiling.
Next, we start by priming the surface based on its condition. If the concrete is in fair to poor shape, use a self-leveling primer to act as a moisture and dust barrier. Next, a base coat made of 100% solids, two-component catalyzed solid color epoxy that self-levels for a smooth finish is applied.
The floor is finished with a clear, sealed, and protected top coat made of 100% solids, UV-resistant polyaspartic material that won’t yellow over time. This high-gloss finish can also include an optional slip-resistant additive for added texture and safety.
